How much does it cost to rent a porta potty in Nevada?
In the 2026 northern Nevada market, a standard unit runs about $75 to $175 for a weekend, $100 to $225 for a week, and $150 to $400 for a month with weekly service. Delivery and pickup adds roughly $50 to $150 depending on distance. Flushing units carry a 30 to 50 percent premium.
How many porta potties do I need?
On a construction site, OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51 sets one unit for up to 20 workers. Past 20 employees the ratio becomes one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers, and past 200 employees it moves to one per 50. For events, the count scales with guest numbers, hours, and whether alcohol is served.

Do I need a permit for a portable toilet in Nevada?
For a private job site, generally not. Public events are different. In Washoe County, Northern Nevada Public Health requires a Special Event Permit once daily attendance reaches 5,000 or total attendance reaches 10,000 over 14 days. Nine rural counties are permitted by the state instead.
How far ahead should I book?
One to three business days covers most standard deliveries. Peak summer weekends and named regional events commit regional inventory well in advance, so book those early. Call and we will tell you honestly what is realistic for your date.
What cannot go in a portable toilet?
Paint, solvents, motor oil, concrete washout, construction debris, and hazardous or medical waste. These damage the tank and contaminate the waste stream. Anything that is not human waste, toilet paper or the supplied deodorizer belongs elsewhere.
